This week Graham Farram continues his look at the history of Bega Public School. Using pieces written about W.H Brain, Emma Otton and Robert Sharpe.

Later in the episode we return to the community of Candelo and catch up with Katie Bourke and Robyn Martin, two of the members of an amazing new local band, The New Graces. These ladies, along with their friend Melanie Horsnell, have recently been recognised for the quality of this debut release with the album topping country music charts nationally in its first week of release.

You can purchase copies of ‘Season’s’ in digital, CD or Vinyl from The New Graces Bandcamp site.

As gigs become more of a reality down the track, you’ll find information about where you can see them play on their website.

While we remain somewhat restricted by COVID, keep your eyes out for online opportunities to see them play and remember the impact that this virus is having on our arts community. The next chance to see The New Graces perform is this Friday, June 5, when they participate in the Bournda Environmental Education Centre’s World Environment Day fundraising dinner
