In this weeks episode of my podcast The Local Update Graham Farram was reading Australian poems. After we published the episode Graham returned to me having found an absolute treasure that is perfect for the end of This years NAIDOC Week. NAIDOC or National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee week is usually observed in July but, due to the impact of Covid, was moved this year to November.

Graham Farram is an indigenous man who is recognised by the local Yuin people as a welcome guest on these lands. Over the last few weeks we have included a number of indigenous poems in episodes of the podcast including one by Well known local Yuin author Bruce Pascoe.
