It’s not every day that a chef with world experience decides to set up shop in a sleepy town off the highway like Taree. Julie-Anne Booth left this community as a 17 year old, determined to find her feet in the food industry. Having spent time working with michelin star chefs around the world Julie returned home looking for the next stage in life, she tells me she woke up one morning with the realisation that she’d bought a local cafe… something that wasn’t on the cards originally.

Having had nearly 12 months to settle into life in her new role, Julie-Anne is about to start a new adventure, working with me to make radio on a monthly basis. Over the next year or so Julie-Anne and I will work together to tackle the food related questions she gets from customers on a regular basis.
